Nightshade is a gothic/alternative burlesque production located in DFW. Their monthly shows at The Cicada in Fort Worth feature burlesque and drag performers who share their art, passion, and beauty to an enthralled audience every First Friday. The Nightshade team are devoted to creating a safe and welcoming space to all within the LGBTQIA community and are proud to give a spotlight to performers who share a passion for the macabre. Every Nightshade production features a new collection of both local and out of town performers making each show an unique experience. Winner of the 2024 Best Burlesque Show in Dallas as well as Fort Worth Weekly’s Critic’s Choice Award, Nightshade Burlesque is a show you do not want to miss.

Vivienne Vermuth
Vivienne “Vee” (they/them) is an original, award winning Dallas burlesque/drag icon, having performed/produced over 4000 shows across the United States since 2008. Accolades include – Best Burlesque in Dallas 2023-24, Best Drag Queen of Fort Worth 2024, Most Original at the 2018 Oklahoma City Burlesque Festival, the Pineapple Sparkle Award (for warmth and congeniality) at the 2017 Texas Queerlesque Festival and the Tammy True Future Legend of Burlesque Award at the 2015 Dallas Burlesque Festival. They are also an award winning makeup artist.
Violent Lavender
Lavender “Lav” is a delightful blend of sweet and sinful. With over 7 years of experience performing burlesque she mesmerizes audiences and leaves them wanting more. From sundresses and flowers to leather and whips, you never know what you are going to get when Lavender takes the stage.
Sodi Moore
Sodi Moore is a neoburlesque themme fatale who’s been stealing souls across the south since late 2018. This vixen explores themes of darkness, otherness, & macabre in their sensual routines while adding a dash of humor. From the goth club to the big stage, this traveling showghoul continuously mesmerizes national audiences with their savory moves & dangerous curves.
Tasseled Squirrel
I have been performing since 2011. Originally from Los Angeles, CA but have called TX home since 2013. I really love performing. My favorite thing about burlesque is being able to create performance pieces that evoke strong emotions in an audience.
Charlotte Rouge
“The red rush that will make you blush..” Charlotte is a kitten, dancer, singer, emerging performer, and has served as a Nightshade Burlesque Bingo Co-Host. She loves all things Nightshade, number one being the community!
